Yoga for Birth Workshop
Birth can be a beautiful right of passage for both new and experienced mamas alike. But it can also be a physical and mental challenge, causing many moms stress that can even slow the birth process. Preparing yourself fully for the challenge ahead is one of the best things you can do to ensure you welcome your baby into the world in a calm, peaceful, joyful way. Prenatal yoga, with its emphasis on stretching, mindful breathing, meditation, and the mind-body connection, can help you prepare your body and mind, so that giving birth can be the joyful experience you’ve always dreamed it would be.
This unique birth preparation workshop will give you many tools—yoga postures, meditations, mantras, visualizations, and breath techniques—to help you stay calm, centered, and focused throughout your birth experience. Whether you have decided on a natural, drug-free birth or a medicated birth, this class is a must for mindful mamas-t0-be!

“I really enjoyed taking Erica’s yoga for birth workshop and recommend it to all soon-to-be mamas, especially those planning on a natural birth. I came away with so many tools and techniques to guide me through the different phases of child birth. From breathing, visualization, relaxing positions as well as positions to help get things moving—she covered all the bases to help me prepare. Not to mention getting to enjoy some quality time with other soon to be moms! I can’t say enough good things about Erica, she is truly gifted at what she does!”

“Erica’s Yoga for Birth Workshop was fabulous! Erica is good for the soul. She has such a wonderful way of being with her students. Erica created a very supportive environment that was just what I needed as I prepared for my son’s birth. I appreciated all the different topics that were discussed. We went over yoga poses, mindfulness, breathing, mantras, and relaxation. One of the most powerful exercises we did was related to being with discomfort and addressing fear with positive affirmations. I was so happy to have all these tools while giving birth to my son. The check list was especially nice since childbirth can be a whirlwind. The guided imagery/relaxation at the end of the workshop was wonderful! I also loved participating in Erica’s prenatal yoga class. I looked forward to it every week. If you have the chance to take one of Erica’s classes or workshops do it!! You will be glad you did!”
