I love it! She looks so happy – her tail is just waggling away. If she could talk I just know she'd be say "I love you! Play with me! I love you! I love you!" lol

Wow – and I thought my cat walking between my legs during Triangle pose was distracting! I have to agree with Jamie though, you have one very happy dog. 🙂

Our practice is almost the same, but with cat. She plays with the mat, the mala is her great challenge and the savasana is our favorite.

Strangely this is a whole new inspiration for me. I too have a puppy who does the exact same thing. I even went on the internet to see if there was something wrong with her or something I was doing wrong for her to act this way. Turns out she is just a puppy. I did a late night practice yesterday and felt so incredibly guilty shutting her out. Guilt does not a peaceful practice make. Now that I see this video and all the positive comments I have been able to make the adjustment to see her in a whole new light as a bundle of love being! Thank you ~
PS Her name is Shanti. One day she will grow into her peace. I hope!

Namaste, mama!

I'm Erica. I'm a yoga teacher who helps pregnant and new mamas find more balance in their life through yoga, mindfulness, self-care, inspiration, community, and humor. I spoil my yoga students rotten (in a good way!), and it's my mission to teach mamas that it's not selfish to spoil themselves every now and then, too.
