If you were to run into me on any weekend day, there’s about a 50 percent chance I’d be wearing the Kalyani Top (designed by Devi sold at Beebliss.com). It’s my absolute favorite T-shirt–soft, comfortable, flattering, and a constant reminder of the goddess yoga teachers me I am. I feel great every time I put it on. I want you to feel great, too! Why I practice has been a recurring theme this week…I practice to feel better and to be a better human being. I saw this yesterday and it has become new ispiration http://www.odditycentral.com/news/bette-calman-the-yoga-super-granny.html

My inspiration changes everyday. Sometimes I do yoga to relieve stress. Sometimes I do it for my health. Sometimes I want to keep my daily practice to qualify for YTT. Sometimes it's just because…

My runs outside inspire my practice. No matter what the weather is like, there is always something beautiful to see and it always feels good to run. It's all about the being present in the moment while doing something physical.

Yoga makes me feel healthy, happy, and stress free. I cannot say enough about how yoga has helped me. What inspires me to keep doing it, is knowing how I will feel after I am done and during my practice.

So many things inspire yoga! Physical well-being and challenge, the sweetness of practicing in a beautiful studio with a gifted teacher, the humor in struggling with balancing poses or new poses altogether, the blissed-out feeling at the end of savasana, renewed sense of community, and on and on!

The way I feel after each class inspires me to go back again the next day. It's a feeling of pure clarity and physical exertion.

Knowing that my heart will unravel and my body will unknot within breaths of getting on my mat gets me there and sustains both my asana and sitting practices. Cute clothes always make me feel good, too 🙂 Thanks for the contest – joined, tweeted, fb'd and loving!

    I've done all 4!

Now, how has yoga inspired my daily life? Can I write a book here 😉

Diagnosed with Celiac Disease this year in March has made my practice so wonderful. While in practice I know I am more than my body. Funny how an activity most think of as being physical is so 'out of body' for me.

I had to learn not to compete with my ability.
To allow for restorative healing. To slow down. To heal.

I want to become a yoga instructor to help those overcoming illnes and injury.

My friends and cyber sangha inspire me every day. I am grateful to be surrounded by passionate people doing what they love.

I have one "yoga fashion" item that inspires me and makes me feel fabulous. My Bhati Beads bracelet reminds to make time for daily yoga and meditation … and it's purty, too.

    Great giveaway – thanks!!

Just started yoga with three classes under my belt. It makes me feel amazing, awake, alive, and centered as opposed to being affected by the stress around me.

It's always amazing to wake up and know that there's yoga to look forward to at the end of the day!

Namaste, mama!

I'm Erica. I'm a yoga teacher who helps pregnant and new mamas find more balance in their life through yoga, mindfulness, self-care, inspiration, community, and humor. I spoil my yoga students rotten (in a good way!), and it's my mission to teach mamas that it's not selfish to spoil themselves every now and then, too.
